If there is one skill you could wish for yourself to become a better internet marketer, internet marketing advisor or businessman what skill would you choose? Many people would say this and that, but think again. How about great communication skills? Sounds silly? I wouldn’t say so. You see, everything is starting with communication. Life itself is all about communication. There would be no good or bad decisions, cooperations, improvements, and probably, you wouldn’t exist without any communication presence.
So, what do you think good communication can do for you and for your business? The answer is, EVERYTHING. This is very important skill when we are talking about growing your business or selling products. Lack of communication can cause a lot of problems in friendship, family, business etc. Communication is not just talking to others. I am communicating with you right now without any speaking. Your products won’t speak for itself until you sell it and to sell it you need to communicate.
You have probably received many business proposals via email, but this proposals are so bad written that you have probably deleted the emails immediately or you simply did not reply to their offer. You should take this as an example for how to improve your communication skills or at least, what should you never use when sending emails or business offers.
Please imagine you are one of the best SEO expert in the world. Ok. You really are. You have decided to sell your services to some companies and to write a business offer via email. How does this look like:
“Hi, I am the best SEO expert in the world and I will increase your sales with my superior skills.
All you have to do is reply to this email and pay $1.000 USD and I will contact you as soon as possible.
This is your life opportunity!”
I’m sure you fell for this one. Yeah right. You see, this guy could sell his SEO services to anyone if only he could prove that his method works, and if he could prove that his skills are really good. With this communication skills and this example this guy won’t sell a thing. So, there is one bad thing that can happen to you and that is having everything required for good business or project but you simply don’t know how to present it. With bad communication skills you are simply helpless and you are lost in your work and in your progress.
You have two options: hiring someone to do it for you or learn communication skills and start to grow your business.
